Since 1995, West Virginia Fruit & Berry has been creating fruit wines, preserves, and whiskeys inspired by the flavors, traditions, and character of West Virginia.
From a Berry Farm to a West Virginia Tradition
West Virginia Fruit and Berry is a West Virginia-based, family-owned and majority woman-owned business bringing the flavors of Appalachia to retail partners and consumers through a distinctive portfolio of fruit wines, preserves, fruit butters, and whiskeys. With origins in the early 1990s their idea was simple: grow good fruit, make something people would love, and share a taste of West Virginia.
In 1995, Bob and Becky Titchenal began marketing preserves, jams, and fruit butters made from the fruits and berries grown on their farm. What started as a small family business grew into a line of products enjoyed throughout the Mountain State and beyond.
Fruit wines were added in 2015 to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary, followed by unique whiskeys as the company entered its next chapter.
Today, West Virginia Fruit and Berry products can be found at retailers throughout the region with most of the lineup available for direct purchase online. While the product line has grown, the idea behind it hasn't changed: create distinctive products, take pride in where they come from, and give people a genuine taste of West Virginia.
